SlotMan Track Designer (known simply as SlotMan which stands for Slot Car Manager) provides a slot car track design tool as well as features to provide track timing and race controls for analog slot car racing. It manages many different track systems (listed below) and allows you to inventory all of your track pieces. SlotMan remains very popular despite it no longer being in development.
Slotman supports English and German in addition to the Metric and US units of measurement. You can assign a different color for each lane and track borders. Additional features include track inventory and the ability to create your own floor plan. Slotman also offers timing options, and race management features with the ability to display race results, fastest laps, and lap tables. You can configure and save your car library, drivers, and detailed information such as magnets, trim weights, track voltages, tires, controllers and gear ratios.
The official Carrera Track Layout Planner was based off of this slot track designer software. You will find the user interfaces practically identical. The Carrera planner has some pre-configured tracks available for you to load up to modify to your liking. They are based off different sets that were available in the past.

Scalextric Track Designer includes the full Scalextric track inventory allowing you to design the perfect slot car layout. This 3D software includes a room designer so that you can layout the exact conditions you are working with. You can design multi-lane layouts, include elevation changes, barriers and pit lanes.
Once you have saved your slot car layout you can use the software to print the layout or send it to their online store allowing you to purchase the additional slot track needed.
